Almaty, October 23, 2025 — Another business breakfast was organized by Azamat Syrgabayev, Member of the Board of the Society of Honorary Consuls of Kazakhstan. The event brought together honorary and general consuls representing Italy, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Germany, France, Slovak Republic, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Belgium, Sweden, Monaco, and Thailand.
In an informal atmosphere over breakfast, participants discussed current political, economic, and business developments in the country, as well as the activities of companies from their respective nations represented in Kazakhstan. Special attention was given to upcoming events until the end of the year and to further opportunities for cooperation.
Such business breakfasts traditionally serve as a platform for strengthening personal and professional ties between the diplomatic corps and honorary consuls. This meeting was particularly notable for the participation of several new representatives — both from among career diplomats and honorary consuls. The event was attended by the recently appointed Consul General of France, Maxime Gehringer, Consul General of Lithuania, Sarune Kubiliute, Consul General of Poland, Dariusz Szewczyk, as well as Honorary Consul of France, Igor Kopailov, and Honorary Consul of Italy, Emanuele Moruzzi.
These regular business breakfasts have proven to be an informal yet effective platform for continuous engagement between diplomats and the business community. They contribute to strengthening international relations, exchanging experience, and fostering business connections between countries.
