Denpasar, July 30, 2025 - In the administrative center of Bali Province, the grand opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place. The ceremony was led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Indonesia, Serzhan Abdykarimov, and the famous Balinese entrepreneur Putu Winastra.
The event brought together citizens of Kazakhstan, representatives of Indonesian government agencies, business communities, and the media. The national anthems were played, and the flags of both countries were raised.
In his speech, Ambassador Abdykarimov noted Kazakhstan's sustainable development and emphasized the significance of the opening of the Honorary Consulate as an expression of Kazakhstan's and Indonesia's firm commitment to further deepening their mutually beneficial relations in the fields of investment, economics, tourism, and culture.
The Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, I Wayan Sumaradzaya, positively assessed the initiative from Kazakhstan, highlighting its relevance in the context of increasing economic cooperation and tourism exchanges between the two countries.
The new Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan, Putu Vinastra, expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the trust placed in him, and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting bilateral cooperation and protecting the interests of Kazakh citizens and legal entities.
During the ceremony, guests were presented with videos showcasing Kazakhstan's achievements, history, culture, and tourism potential.
