Opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

The opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was combined with a reception on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Eurasian Resource Group.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, H.E. Aigul Kuspan, thanked the ERG management for organizing the event and noted the importance of the company's contribution to the development of business relations between Kazakhstan and Luxembourg. “Luxembourg is a reliable political, trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union,” the Ambassador stressed. The Honorary Consulate will benefit both countries by strengthening their partnership in all sectors of the economy. Benedikt Sobotka is currently the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Luxembourg, starting in 2019.
