Visit of the Thai delegation on a project to assess the prospects for the development of the raw materials industry, green technologies and energy, as well as the gemstone industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On September 12, 2023, an important business visit of the Thai delegation took place in Almaty, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Thailand and Kazakhstan in the fields of green technologies, energy, and precious stones. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from various Thai governmental and private companies.

The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the prospects for the development of the raw materials industry in Kazakhstan and to promote the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies in this sector. Meetings with Kazakhstani companies and entrepreneurs were marked by an active exchange of ideas and experiences, emphasizing the significance of collaboration between the two countries.

The event was attended by Dr. Mirgali Kunayev, the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand in Almaty, who is also a businessman in the field of mining, oil and gas industries, Denis Van den Weghe, the Chairman of the Board of the Society of Honorary Consuls and the Honorary Consul of Belgium in Kazakhstan, as well as a businessman in the manufacturing and investment sectors. Also, Honorary Consuls from countries such as Monaco, Slovakia, Greece, and Mexico, who are successful entrepreneurs in various fields, were present. Representatives from organizations and companies such as the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken," "Kazahyuvyelir Torg" (Kazakhstan Jewelry Trade), AlemAgro Holding, Pattaya Spa LLP, Golden Mehong Products LLP, Goldi Jewelry Plant, and others participated in the event.
