Opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of Switzerland

On July 4, 2023, a grand opening ceremony for the Honorary Consulate of Switzerland took place in the city of Almaty! This significant event underscored the strengthening of diplomatic ties between Switzerland and Kazakhstan. The opening of the Honorary Consulate creates an excellent opportunity to deepen cooperation in various fields, including trade, cultural exchange, and civil connections. Ms. Marina Kochetova was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Switzerland.

The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Head of the Ministry's Representation in Almaty, the Head of the Swiss diplomatic mission, the Chairman of the Board of the Society of Honorary Consuls, and representatives from other diplomatic institutions and business entities.
