Grand opening of the Honorary Consulate of North Macedonia in Almaty

June 2nd marked an important moment in the diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and North Macedonia with the opening of the Honorary Consulate of North Macedonia in the city of Almaty. Mr. Berik Kaniyev was appointed as the Honorary Consul of North Macedonia. Prominent representatives from both countries and business circles gathered at this event.

Welcoming speeches were delivered by His Excellency Sali Limani, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of North Macedonia to Kazakhstan, Mr. Denis Van den Weghe, Chairman of the Board of the Society of Honorary Consuls, and Mr. Berik Kaniyev, the Honorary Consul of North Macedonia, who also serves as the President of the Kazakhstan Golf Federation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Lancaster Group Kazakhstan."

They have contributed to strengthening relations between the two countries and creating new opportunities for cooperation.
