III Congress of Honorary Consuls in Almaty: Strengthening international relations and business cooperation

From September 28 to October 2, 2023, the III Congress of Honorary Consuls was held in Almaty, which brought together representatives from more than 45 countries. The event was held under the auspices of the Society of Honorary Consuls NGO with the support of the KAZENERGY Association and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and became a significant platform for dialogue, cultural exchange and business cooperation.

International cooperation and cultural exchange
The Congress gathered representatives from such countries as Belgium, Luxembourg, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Portugal, Cameroon, Mozambique, Italy, Spain, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Lithuania, India, Pakistan, Hungary, Poland, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Slovenia, Monaco, Indonesia, Israel, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Finland, Republic of Cyprus and others. The participants of the Congress were able to exchange experiences and ideas in various fields, contributing to the development of international relations and partnership.

Business sessions and investments
Intensive working sessions were held for two days, during which issues of business cooperation and investment were discussed. The national companies participating in the Congress, namely Almaty Invest, AIFC Business Connect Ltd., the National Managing Holding "Baiterek", the Center for the Development of Trade Policy "QazTrade", the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Tourism National Company JSC, Akimat of Almaty region, Kazakh Invest Representative Office in Almaty presented their projects and opportunities for foreign investors. This created favorable conditions for the further development of economic ties.

Cultural program and natural attractions
The participants of the Congress also had the opportunity to enjoy a cultural tour of the city, visit the UN Office, take part in a golf tournament and the Gala dinner. In addition, excursions to natural attractions, such as Charyn and Shymbulak, granted the guests an opportunity to see the beauty of the nature of Kazakhstan.
