Opening of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Georgia

The opening ceremony of the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the consular district in the regions of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Imereti took place in the Georgian city of Borjomi. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Georgia, H.E. Bauyrzhan Mukhamedzhanov, noted that the opening of an Honorary Consulate in one of the economic, cultural, tourist regions of Georgia testifies to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the spirit of traditional friendship and mutual trust. Over the years of independence, the two states have successfully overcome the stage of formation of relations and reached a new qualitative level, supplementing the agreements with practical content and the search for new areas of interaction.

In his speech, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Borjomi, Mr. Levan Bagdavadze, assured that he would provide the necessary assistance in the development of economic, cultural, and sports ties between the two countries. According to him, citizens and legal entities of Kazakhstan can receive assistance in protecting their rights and interests, as well as in difficult situations. In addition, the Honorary Consulate should become an information center for Georgian citizens interested in modern Kazakhstan.
