Opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Portugal

On April 26, 2021, Gilles Fernando Tainia Vieira was awarded the patent of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the process, the importance of cooperation in the trade, economic and investment sector between the two countries was noted. The pandemic has made its own changes in the activities of Honorary Consulates, where at the moment the protection of the rights and interests of Kazakhstanis in Portugal is a priority. The Honorary Consulate should provide assistance to citizens of Kazakhstan in force majeure situations and in matters of consular service.
