Opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Rustavi, Republic of Georgia

The Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan has opened in Rustavi, Georgia. Georgy Gakhutishvili was appointed Honorary Consul, who noted during the ceremony that the office will work to provide comprehensive assistance to the development of economic, cultural, sports, and educational ties between Kazakhstan and Georgia.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, H.E.  Baurzhan Mukhamedzhanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Governor of the Kvemo-Kartli region, Shota Rekhviashvili, and the Mayor of Rustavi, Irakli Tabagua.

The opening of the Honorary Consulate is proof of the growing cooperation between the two countries. Society of honorary consuls will strive to provide further assistance in the growing cooperation.
