Opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kaunas, Republic of Lithuania

Albertas Milinis is the new Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Lithuania, in the city of Kaunas. The opening ceremony of the Consulate was attended by Lithuanian Foreign Ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, rectors of Lithuania's largest universities, representatives of business, academic and creative circles of the city.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lithuania, Mr. Temirbayev, stressed the connection between Kaunas and Kazakhstan, which explains the reason for choosing the city as a place for a new Honorary Consulate. He believes that this will contribute to the expansion of interregional ties between the two countries.
