Business Breakfast of the Society of Honorary Consuls Held in Almaty

On October 19, 2026, a working business breakfast hosted by the Society of Honorary Consuls, represented by Board Member Azamat Syrgabayev, took place at the Novotel Almaty Hotel.

The event brought together Honorary Consuls and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan. During the meeting, participants engaged in a constructive exchange of views on a wide range of international and regional topics. Discussions focused on current economic and political developments in the represented nations, opportunities for expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation, and the implementation of joint initiatives.

The session was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions and honorary consulates of Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, Hungary, Brazil, Switzerland, Croatia, Romania, Italy, Monaco, Indonesia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, as well as the Consulate Generals of the United States, Lithuania, and Germany.

Following the discussion, the working agenda and schedule of key activities for the Society of Honorary Consuls through the end of the current year were formulated and approved.
