Office of the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic Opens in Taraz

According to vapress.kz, the office of the Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan has officially commenced its operations in the city of Taraz. This significant event for bilateral relations was attended by Zhenishbek Asankulov, Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Almaty.

The honorary guests at the ceremony included Bakhytzhan Orynbekov, Akim (Mayor) of the Taraz city; Alibiy Djumanov, Chairman of the Talas City Kenesh (Council); Januzak Beiseubayev, Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Taraz; as well as representatives of the business communities of the Zhambyl and Talas regions.

The official events featured important bilateral negotiations:

Bakhytzhan Orynbekov, Akim of the Taraz city, and Alibiy Djumanov, Chairman of the Talas City Kenesh, discussed key vectors for the joint development of the regions.

A B2B meeting between entrepreneurs of the two countries was held, aimed at expanding investment and business ties.

The attendees shared the view that the new consular office will provide a powerful impetus to strengthening good-neighborly relations, boosting trade, and protecting the interests of Kyrgyz citizens and businesses in the region.

The itinerary of the Kyrgyz delegation was further complemented by visits to key facilities in the Zhambyl region, including the "Dala Glass" sheet glass manufacturing plant, the Scientific and Clinical Center for Cardiac Surgery and Transplantology, and the Regional Museum of History and Local Lore.
